Because the leaders of Small Victories want division here.
In fact it is our opinion that they thrive on it.
The leaders of Small Victories think this is a “turf war”, in reality
nothing could be further from the truth.
If it is a turf war it is a pretty stupid one, because the entire point of
a pro-life ministry is to become OBSOLETE.
In other words they are supposed to be trying to shut down the clinic,
not make it easier for them to stay open, by attacking and distracting
other pro-lifers from their work.
Besides that, it is a turf war over a death camp.
Who wants a death camp in their midst?
Better yet, who wants to be solely responsible to God for their actions
in front of the death camp?
With great power comes great responsibility and accountability.
Small Victories are always saying that the OTHER pro-life groups and people are causing a division, that they are “troublemakers.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The President and Treasurer of Small Victories are always trying to
claim that the "troublemakers" are trying to destroy their ministry and
take what they have.
Really?
How are they trying to destroy it, by getting the abortion clinic to CLOSE?
Which is what Small Victories is SUPPOSED to be doing!!
What would they do with it if they got it from them?
Run themselves out of business?
If Small Victories is truly the one Ministry there that is called of God,
then what man or any group of men (people) could take it away from
them or destroy it outside of God's will.
Acts 5:39 “But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men;
you will only find yourselves fighting against God."
On the other hand if these other pro-lifers, (troublemakers) are not
called of God, they will wither away
Acts 5:38 “Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin,
it will fail. “
This is a two way street, because Acts 5:39 also applies to Small Victories and the other ministries and people, if they are not called of God to destroy these other ministries and people, then Small Victories will find themselves fighting against God.
Therefore, if Small Victories does fade away what does that say about their calling?
It is the leaders of Small Victories who are always pointing the finger at other individuals and groups, but never attempting to reconcile the division. (See our reconciliation page for more)
Anyone who has watched the number of women going in to any abortion clinic on any given day knows that this is a problem that is too big for any one man, woman, church, organization or group.
There is plenty of work to go around in other words.
That is not how Small Victories sees it. In their eyes and minds they are the only ones who are or should be allowed to save babies, it is their calling, and no one else's.
While Small Victories is embroiled in their outrageous behavior,
“whisper campaigns” and treachery against the "other groups",
they spend little or NO time saving babies.
IT IS NOW TIME TO GET BACK TO WORK!
In reality anyone who can convince a woman to not have an abortion should be in front of Hope Clinic on any day they can make it.
The saving of babies is not restricted to a few. Neither is the work
of God restricted to the time and place of man's own choosing.
That is some of the most unintelligent thinking on earth, and it is a
lie from the pit of hell.
Does anyone really believe that God has chosen one ministry, and
one ministry only to save babies lives, and to stop women going
in to an abortion clinic in Granite City?
REALLY???
With that thought in mind, what will happen when the leaders of Small Victories are called home, and are not alive to serve in this ministry field?
Or do they propose to be so holy and called of God that they will never die?
These leaders will point to the other ministries and pro-lifers and say
“they don't have an ultrasound machine.
They can't save babies”, “they have only been here <x number> of days, months or years, we have been here 17 years, they can't save babies."
or "They aren't Christians because they don't look like us or sound like us."
In our opinion, when they say this they are calling God a liar!
1 Corinthians 12:12-18
One Body, Many Parts
12. The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.
13. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body-whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free-and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
14. Now the body is not made up of one part but of many.
15. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body.
16. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body.
17. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?
18. But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.
The more you watch what goes on at Hope Clinic between Small Victories and the other pro-life groups and pro-life people, the more you begin to understand what exactly Small Victories and its leadership is really doing.
Why is there Division here?
